Please read these terms carefully before using Space Clean.

1Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Space Clean platform — including our website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Platform") — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after any update to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2About Space Clean

Space Clean is operated by Duvan Felipe Orozco Obregozo, trading as Space Clean / SpaceOS, registered in Queensland, Australia.

Space Clean is a technology platform that connects clients seeking professional cleaning services with independent cleaning workers ("Workers"). Space Clean is not a cleaning company — we facilitate bookings and manage the service experience, but Workers are independent contractors.

3Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use the Platform. By using Space Clean, you represent and warrant that:

4User Accounts

Registration

You must create an account to book services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Account Security

You agree to notify us immediately at admin@spacecleans.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account. We will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or poses a risk to other users or workers.

5Booking & Services

How Bookings Work

When you create a booking via the Platform, you select the property type, spaces to be cleaned, service package (Basic, Medium, or Premium), and scheduling details. The booking is confirmed once payment is successfully processed.

Scheduling

All bookings must be made at least 8 hours in advance. Available time slots are between 5:00 AM and 10:00 PM (Brisbane AEST). Availability is subject to worker availability in your area.

Access to Property

You are responsible for providing safe and lawful access to the property at the scheduled time. If our worker cannot access the property, a no-access fee may apply. See Section 7 for details.

Booking confirmation is only issued after full payment is received. Unpaid bookings are not guaranteed.

6Pricing & Payment

Pricing

Prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include a service fee (10% of subtotal). Prices may vary depending on the spaces selected, package level, and any extras added.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Space Clean does not store your full card details. By providing payment information, you authorise us to charge the total amount displayed at checkout.

Extras During a Job

Once a booking is paid and locked, additional services may only be added via the in-app extra request flow. These are charged separately and subject to worker availability.

7Cancellation Policy

Client Cancellations

Worker No-Show

If a confirmed worker fails to arrive and does not contact you, you are entitled to a full refund and a free reschedule credit for your next booking.

No-Access

If the worker arrives and cannot access the property (no answer, locked, incorrect address), the booking may be marked as no-access and a fee may be charged to cover the worker's travel time.

Refunds

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing times depend on your card issuer (typically 3–10 business days).

8Service Quality & Complaints

We are committed to high-quality service. If you are unsatisfied with a completed job, please contact us within 24 hours of completion at admin@spacecleans.com.

We may request before/after photos (which are captured automatically during the job) to investigate complaints. Resolutions may include a partial refund or rebook at our discretion.

Space Clean does not guarantee that all services will meet individual expectations beyond what is described in each package's service list.

9Worker Conduct & Insurance

Background Checks

All Space Clean workers are required to pass a background check through an approved provider (including ACIC-accredited checks where applicable) prior to being activated on the Platform. Records of these checks are maintained by Space Clean.

Notwithstanding the above, Space Clean does not guarantee that any worker is free from prior criminal history not captured by the check, and the performance of a background check does not create any liability on the part of Space Clean for the independent acts or omissions of that worker.

Public Liability Insurance

Each independent worker operating on the Space Clean Platform is required, as a condition of their engagement, to hold and maintain a current Public Liability Insurance policy with a minimum coverage of AUD $5,000,000 per occurrence. Workers must provide evidence of current coverage upon request.

Space Clean does not itself hold public liability insurance on behalf of clients or workers. In the event of property damage, personal injury, or loss arising from a worker's actions, any insurance claim must be directed to the worker's insurer.

Non-Circumvention

Workers must not be engaged directly by clients outside the Platform for services equivalent to those offered by Space Clean during the term of their engagement and for 12 months thereafter.

10Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

11Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including the Space Clean and SpaceOS name, logo, design, software, and text — is the property of Duvan Felipe Orozco Obregozo and is protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without prior written permission.

12Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Space Clean, its operators, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

Space Clean's role is solely that of a technology platform facilitating the connection between clients and independent workers. Space Clean does not supervise, direct, or control the manner in which workers perform services, and accepts no vicarious liability for their conduct.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific booking directly giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2, Competition and Consumer Act 2010), including consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded by contract.

12bIndemnification

By using the Platform, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Space Clean and its operators, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

You acknowledge that Space Clean is a marketplace platform and that any dispute arising from the conduct of an independent worker is a matter between you and that worker. Space Clean may, at its sole discretion, assist in resolving disputes but is not obligated to do so and assumes no legal responsibility for their outcome.

In the event Space Clean is joined as a party to any legal proceedings arising from the acts or omissions of an independent worker, you agree to cooperate fully and, where Space Clean is found not liable, to reimburse Space Clean for any costs incurred in defending such proceedings.

13Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute before initiating formal proceedings.

14Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify registered users via email.

Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
